Jeanette The outer layer was hard and filling tasted only of sweet butter. There was nothing sour about this candy. YUCK!! When I reached out to the company about the poor quality of the candy they informed me that personal preference was not a reason for a refund. Stay away from Sugar Rush Lane!!
